Hot Box: A 24 hour tea and coffee station stocked with home made goodies, rusks and juices
Trails: Thoughtfully designed routes by by our trail team who are runners themselves
Race Village: A fully set up race village with the Hot Box, exclusive Oxpecker garment shop, and a well-stocked bar.
Water Points: Well-stocked with homemade goodies, including our famous Oxpecker date balls.
Ablutions: Permanent ablutions with hot showers and flushing toilets.
Sundowner Tour: An enjoyable sundowner tour on Saturday afternoon with snacks
Medical Support: Medics on the route and a registered doctor in the race village available at any time over the weekend.

Supporter Peckers are welcome at the Oxpecker Marathon provided they buy a supporters package. The package includes all meals and they have to share the tent with the runner.

At race pack collection, you’ll choose your race:
Lovebirds: Couples who have been dating for at least three months and are still together at the finish line. A smooch is required to prove this!
Family: Any relations—brothers, sisters, cousins, parent and child. No smooching here!
Ostrich: Runners who weigh over 100kg. You will be weighed at prize-giving to prove this, so make sure you eat well and drink lots of beer over the weekend!
Tannie: For all the moms out there! (A very competitive category!)
Gogo: For all the legendary grandmothers out there
Please note, the African Oxpecker is the only event that offers prize money.
