How to Transfer Your Ticket
Transferring is simple:
1. Log into Howler and head to the Tickets tab.
2. Click the three dots on your ticket and select Transfer.
3. Enter the lucky recipient’s email address and pay R200 to transfer the running ticket and R100 to Transfer the tent ticket.
4. Please remember that both the running ticket and tent ticket will need to be transferred.
5. Both the original and new ticket holders will receive an email confirming the ticket transfer.
Please note that transferring tickets will be open up to a week before the event you are entered into.
Entered the incorrect email address? Don’t worry, it happens. Please contact support@howler.co.za
You cannot transfer a ticket to an email address that already has a ticket assigned to it. Each ticket needs to be assigned to a unique email address.
How to Resell Your entry
Use Oxpecker’s platform to safely sell your tickets. We will be directing the waiting list to this platform.
This is the ONLY official way to resell your entry:
1. Log into Howler and go to Tickets.
2. Click the three dots and select Sell Ticket.
3. Set your price, enter your banking details, and list it.
4. Once your ticket is sold you will both receive a confirmation email and payment will be made in 5-14 days.
Please note that your entry ticket and accommodation ticket will be resold separately.
Please note that the Resale Platform will be open up to two week before the event you are entered into.
Refunds
Did you sign up for Refund Protect when you bought your entries? You can claim your money directly back from them by clicking here.
Want your money back? Here’s how much you’ll get:
90% refund until 31 Dec 2026
50% refund until 28 Feb 2026
No refunds after this date
No refunds for payment plans.
To request a refund, log into Howler, select your ticket, and click Query

Want to pay in chunks? Use LayUp.
– 50% deposit required to secure your spot.
– Balance must be paid by 31 Dec 2024.
– Your ticket stays “pending” until fully paid.
How to Use LayUp
1. Select your tickets and proceed to checkout.
2. Choose LayUp as your payment method.
3. Follow the steps to set up your payment plan.
